On 5th October 2010, the workshop on Renewable Energy and Potable water for Rural Areas was organized by NIE (National Institute of Engineering, Mysore). It was an excellent platform for people of varied background but having common interests to assemble, share and learn new ways and means of being responsbile on Earth. To extend the existence of such a platform, an online group called Sustainable Commnune was created.

In 2 years, 350.org was able to garner a movement as big as 10/10/10 - this was possible entirely due to the power of Internet. That's inspirational!!! When a group of like-minded people join together, the results can be miraculous.
